Anatoliy Filatov Shares His WSOP Experience and Challenges
Anatoliy Filatov, a renowned Pokerdom pro player, recently shared his experiences and challenges at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Filatov revealed that he did not attend the entire WSOP series due to financial constraints and personal commitments. He mentioned that the series is too long and expensive, making it difficult for him to participate fully. Despite his best efforts, Filatov has not had the best results at WSOP, attributing his losses to a combination of poor luck and strategic mistakes.
In one of his tournaments, Filatov lost despite having a strong hand. He recalled a situation where he had valets and his opponent had aces, but the river card was an ace, leading to his defeat. Another instance involved a bluff that was called by an opponent with a low-end range. Filatov also mentioned playing against strong opponents like BigHuni, where his aggressive play style sometimes backfired. Despite these challenges, Filatov remains optimistic about his future performances at WSOP.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
