Yuri 'Bart' Anisimov Wins FTOPS #8 Tournament

Yuri 'Bart' Anisimov, a 21-year-old poker player from Krasnodar, has made a significant mark in the poker world by winning the FTOPS #8 tournament. Yuri lives in Krasnodar and studies at Kuban Technical University. He has been playing poker for 4 years, seriously for 2 years.

Yuri transitioned from Hold'em to Omaha a year ago. He plays only Heads-Up PLO cash games and Hold'em tournaments. His aggressive playing style helped him maintain a large stack throughout the tournament, which had 750 participants. Yuri's strategy involved opening with any opportunity and putting pressure on his opponents, especially since many players in the tournament were from a Hold'em background and played more tightly.

In the final stages, Yuri eliminated AJSuited16 on 6th place, which allowed him to secure a significant advantage. He plans to use his winnings to buy a car, possibly a Lexus IS 250 from his friend Diyakon. Yuri's victory is a testament to his skill and dedication to the game, and he plans to continue his poker journey, possibly venturing into the American offline scene after completing his university studies.
