WSOP Fantasy Draft: Who Are the Poker Gods Favouring?

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) fantasy draft is heating up as the event enters its final three weeks, with 60 champions already crowned. Dan Zak currently leads the overall standings, having secured two bracelets in this series. Daniel Weinman follows closely, having won one bracelet and reached the heads-up stage twice.

Alex Foxen and Phil Ivey, both prominent figures in the overall standings, are key players in TheCreator's team. Alex Foxen's victory in the most expensive tournament of the series, with a buy-in of $250k, earned him 1,300 points, significantly boosting his lead. The top 10 players in the fantasy draft all have Jake Shindler and Koray Aldemir on their teams, highlighting the strategic importance of these players.

Eric Seidel and Jason Koon are among the notable players who have yet to make it to the prize money. Seidel has not placed in any tournament so far, while Koon exited the $100k tournament in 13th place and the $250k tournament in 11th place. Hossein Ensan, the 2019 World Champion, has also not made it to the money in any WSOP tournament so far, adding to the unpredictability of this year's series.
