WSOP Circuit Makes Historic Debut in Malta This September
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit is coming to Malta for the first time, with a festival scheduled from September 25 to October 5, 2026. The 11-day series will feature 12 ring events, all taking place at Casino Malta in St. Julian’s. Each ring event winner will receive a gold ring and a $5,000 package to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.
The WSOP Circuit festival is being organized in partnership with Texapoker, a French live events company. Casino Malta has hosted major tournaments like the Battle of Malta and EPT Malta, proving its capability to manage large-scale events. Malta is known for its reliable poker scene, with venues like Casino Malta and Portomaso Casino hosting various international tours.
The WSOP Circuit has expanded internationally over the past decade, visiting dozens of countries across Europe, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. The WSOP Circuit is currently hosting its first-ever stop in Liechtenstein at Grand Casino Gamprin, which runs from February 29 to March 10, 2026.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
