Rafael Moraes and Felipe Katu Win Big at WSOP Brazil

The 4th day of the WSOP Circuit Brazil was filled with excitement and enthusiastic cheers. The final tables promised thrilling moments in tournaments that were among the most anticipated of the championship, considered the world cup of poker. Two WSOP rings were won, and incredible plays highlighted the competitions.

Rafael Moraes, a member of the 4Bet Poker Team, dominated the Super High Roller tournament from start to finish, securing the title and a prize of R$ 300,000. Moraes began the final table with more than double the chips of the second-place player, Marcello Azevedo. Notable participants included Kristen Bicknell, a two-time WSOP bracelet winner, and André Akkari, a PokerStars professional and the second Brazilian to win a WSOP bracelet.

Felipe Katu, after advancing to Day 2 with a short stack in the Brazilian Storm tournament, turned his game around on Day 3. He won the WSOP ring and a prize of R$ 147,000. Katu's victory included a dramatic river save with a 6 against his opponent's QQ. The heads-up against Danilo Saraiva was decided by a pre-flop all-in with AK against KJ.
