WSOP 2026: New Dates, Locations, and Major Changes Announced
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced the dates for its 2026 events, marking the 57th edition of the series. The 2026 WSOP is scheduled to run from May 26 to July 15, 2026, in Las Vegas. WSOP Paradise 2026 has officially been confirmed for its fourth installment, with the festival set to take place from December 1 to December 18, 2026.
WSOP Europe 2026 will take place from March 31 to April 12, 2026, in Prague, marking a significant location shift for the series. The Main Event buy-in has been cut in half, dropping from the traditional €10,350 to €5,300, with a €10 million guaranteed prize pool, the largest guarantee ever offered in the history of WSOP Europe.
The new WSOP Player of the Year competition will span all three live WSOP festivals held during the calendar year, with a $1 million total prize pool distributed among the top 100 players on the leaderboard.
