WSOP 2021 in Las Vegas Mandates Vaccination for Participants

Participants of the live WSOP 2021 series in Las Vegas must be vaccinated. WSOP organizers announced the vaccination requirement on their official Twitter page. Players must confirm full vaccination against COVID-19 before their first registration. Players are encouraged to use the free mobile app CLEAR and its Health Pass feature.

Kristen Bicknell expressed her dissatisfaction with the rule and announced a boycott of WSOP 2021. The live stage of the WSOP series was canceled last year. WSOP 2021 is planned for the fall of this year.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
