WSOP 2015: Players Share Frustrations and Highlights on Twitter
The WSOP 2015 saw a mix of emotions and experiences from poker players, many of whom took to Twitter to share their thoughts. David Bach expressed frustration over the slow pace of play in a Monster Stack tournament, noting that the first hand took an astonishing 15 minutes.
Scott Clements, known for his unique approach to the game, mentioned enjoying Netflix while waiting for his turn in a no-limit hold'em game. This light-hearted approach to the game is a stark contrast to the more serious issues faced by some players. Vladimir Dobrovolsky, a high-ranking player, found himself unexpectedly banned from the WSOP without any explanation. Despite his attempts to resolve the issue through legal channels, the ban remained in place, causing significant frustration.
Todd Brunson also shared his struggles at the WSOP, expressing his disappointment over his poor performance. He mentioned that he had only one cash finish this year, compared to seven the previous year. Despite his frustrations, Brunson managed to find some humor in his situation, joking about his bad beats and the rules of the WSOP. Daniel Strelitz had a memorable moment when he hit a royal flush against Daniel Colman in a live game, adding a highlight to his WSOP experience.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
