WSOP 2012: NeverScaredB's Intriguing Hand from the Main Event
NeverScaredB raised 300 on the button with Jd Js, OPP1 called on the small blind, and OPP2 three-bet to 900 on the big blind. The_Dean221 suggested calling the three-bet to keep the weaker player in the hand and control the pot size against the aggressive European player. NeverScaredB decided to four-bet to 2,500, and the European player called, leaving them heads-up with 5,300 in the pot. On the flop 6h 7h Qc, the European player led for 3,000.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
