WSOP 2012: Inside the Poker Tournament's Most Memorable Moments

The WSOP 2012 was filled with memorable moments and anecdotes that kept the poker community buzzing. During a break, Gavin Smith asked Olivier Busquet if there was any player he wouldn't play against. Busquet mentioned Eugene Timoshenko, noting that he thinks deeply about each decision. Ben Tolleren, known as ben86, is noted for playing expensive cash games NL and PLO, but occasionally plays heads-up for $5k.

Phil Hellmuth won his 12th bracelet and mentioned that this was the first tournament where he didn't know the prize money until the end. He joked about preferring a higher prize but was ultimately happy with the bracelet. Jean-Robert Bellande sat next to Phil Ivey and shared a humorous tweet about his short stack and Ivey's presence, which Phil Ivey found amusing.

Phil Ivey is known for not packing his own chips at the end of the day, often leaving it to tournament directors. In one instance, Ivey quickly gave $100 to a director and left, planning to return after freshening up. Sam Farha doubled up in a PLO game with a strong hand and strategic play, showcasing his skill and composure under pressure.
