World Match Poker Championship Final to Be Held Online
Match poker is a team sport where poker players compete collectively. The final of the World Championship of Match Poker, originally scheduled to be held in Peru, then Spain, but was postponed due to local elections and a coronavirus outbreak, will now be held online on May 30-31.
The competitions will be held on the federation's own software, which is not related to poker rooms. Ukraine won the Nations Cup in Dublin more than a year ago and is set to defend their title. However, CEO of PokerMatch, Ruslan Bangert, expressed concern about the fairness of the online games, stating that the question of the honesty of the game needs to be well thought out to ensure that only true members of the teams participate.
Ukraine's team, the current champions, have expressed concerns about fairness and hope to defend their title in the most reliable conditions.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
