Poker Prodigy: The Wild Stories of Antonen's Career

Antonen's poker career is filled with unforgettable stories, from meeting future stars to bizarre encounters. In 2015, he met a young man named Linus on Malta who introduced him to GTO solvers. Linus, who was playing micro-limits cash games, was excited about a new program called PiGTOSolver that he believed would revolutionize poker. Antonen, however, dismissed the idea as silly and refused to learn more about it. A year later, Linus was crushing NL10k, while Antonen struggled to win tournaments.

In 2008, Antonen worked at a poker magazine in Finland where he discovered articles by an unknown American author. The articles were well-received by readers and helped spark a new generation of online poker stars in Finland. The author was later revealed to be Phil Galfond. Due to Galfond's obscurity at the time, the magazine used a caricature for his photo.

One of the most bizarre encounters Antonen had was with a Finnish man at a casino bar. The man was emotionally attached to his family but was later seen with prostitutes, leaving Antonen shocked. In 2012, after breaking up with his girlfriend, Antonen moved to Mexico and experienced internet issues during a poker tournament, adding to his already wild career experiences.
