Viktor Malinovskiy: No Motivation to Play Below NL20k
Viktor Malinovskiy, a prominent poker player, started his poker blog in July 2014. He quickly lost his initial capital but won $2 in a promotion, which he used to build his bankroll. Malinovskiy declared that he had reached the peak of his career in late August, expressing concerns about bots and assistants but noting that Stars has been effective in dealing with them.
Malinovskiy mentioned that he plans to focus more on PLO grind and MTTs if the schedule allows. He advised that the current pandemic is a good time to start a poker career, sharing that he experienced significant emotional pain after losing $3 million in turbo tournaments. He enjoys poker because it is an individual sport where he can express his emotions.
Malinovskiy prefers Game Theory Optimal (GTO) strategy over exploitation. He mentioned that he is currently not training new players but might consider it in the future.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
