Vanessa Kejd Wins $1.5 Million in PokerStars Sunday Million Tournament
The 2023 Sunday Million tournament on PokerStars had 69,876 entries and a prize pool of $13,970,000. The tournament started on March 21 and lasted three days. Three Russian players made it to the final table: VVlankov, Kefirchik106, and Peu3ep.
Vanessa Kejd, known as Niffller on PokerStars, won the tournament and took home $1,514,000. Kejd started the final table in seventh place with around 20 big blinds. She eliminated the last three players and won the tournament in a heads-up against Talibenes.
Kejd's victory is notable because the tournament ended with a clear winner for only the third time in the last 11 years, and her prize is the largest ever awarded in the Sunday Million tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
