Vadka Wins WSOP Limit Hold'em Tournament: 'I've Never Felt This Confident'
Vadim Vadka, known as Vadka, recently participated in a $1.5k limit hold'em tournament at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). This marked his return to the game after a seven-year break, during which he initially played limit hold'em professionally in the late 2000s.
Vadka's decision to return was influenced by Anatoly Zyrin, who convinced him to join the tournament. Vadka mentioned that the field in the $1.5k limit hold'em tournament was not very strong, which allowed him to feel confident in his skills. He finished the first day with an average stack and was satisfied with his performance.
On the second day, Vadka experienced varying luck with different tables. He noted that David ODB Baker was the strongest player on the final table but had a short stack. Vadka also mentioned that some cash game players struggled with shallow stacks during the final table. He advised that in limit hold'em, every bet counts and bluffing should be logical.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
