Vadim Rozin Slams GGPoker for €10k WSOP Last Longer Prize Decision
Vadim Rozin, who finished 12th in this year’s WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas, has criticized GGPoker for awarding the €10k WSOP Last Longer prize to Espen Jorstad instead of himself. Rozin pocketed $525,000 for his deep run in the Main Event and was looking forward to the Last Longer prize of a €10k ticket to the WSOP Europe Main Event. However, GGPoker decided to give the prize to Espen Jorstad, who won the gold bracelet and $10,000,000 at the WSOP Main Event.
Jorstad won his $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat online at GGPoker where he won a $1,050 satellite. He, Vadim Rozin, and Tom Kunze were the last three remaining GGPoker qualifiers. Jorstad secured a free WSOP Europe Main Event seat by virtue of reaching the final table while the two other GGPoker qualifiers fell short.
Raising the issue following the WSOP, Rozin has been unhappy with GGPoker’s response. He enlisted the help of Daniel Negreanu and Jason Koon but has gotten nowhere fast. Asher Conniff supported Rozin, stating that Rozin had the coolest story, something like satelliteing into the main for $25 from his phone while driving his daughter to and from soccer practice. GGPoker has yet to comment on the matter.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
