Ukrainian Players Banned from iPoker Network Amid Doyle Brunson's Home Invasion Scare
Ukrainian players are now restricted from accessing the iPoker network, which includes popular poker rooms like TitanPoker, William Hill Poker, and Winner Poker. The management of these poker rooms confirmed the ban, but the reasons behind it remain unclear. This development comes just days after a significant update to the iPoker tournament schedule, which included faster tournaments and changes to rebuy and add-on policies.
Poker legend Doyle Brunson recently shared a story about a home invasion attempt. Brunson revealed that an intruder, who was likely targeting him due to his poker winnings, was caught by police. The intruder claimed he was owed $700,000 and was armed. Brunson, who is 83 years old, has a history of dealing with such situations and has taken extensive security measures to protect himself and his property.
Brunson's home is equipped with various silent alarm systems, motion detectors, and other security features. He also carries a gun whenever he is at home. Despite the incident, Brunson remains vigilant and has warned potential intruders to reconsider their plans. This is not the first time Brunson has faced such threats, and he has dealt with similar situations five times before.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
