Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Illegal Gambling Machines and Drugs in Raid
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office in Texas executed a search warrant at a home following a tip about suspected illegal gambling activities. The operation was executed by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, which raided a Bexar County home at the 100 block of Esma Street.
On site, police found and seized 26 illegal gambling machines. Six people were arrested by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, of whom three had existing warrants for their arrest. Officers also found and seized an undisclosed amount of drugs.
If convicted, suspects may face misdemeanor or felony charges, and penalties can include probation, fines and even time in prison. The same private residence was raided for similar criminal activity in 2022.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
