TCfromUB Sets Ambitious 2015 Goals, Engages in Heated Poker Debate with Douglas Polk
Poker player TCfromUB, known by his username Nick Fream, shared his 2014 review and set ambitious goals for 2015 in a blog post on the popular poker forum 2+2. TCfromUB won around $400k in poker in 2014, but expressed disappointment with his performance, citing health issues and other challenges.
Looking ahead to 2015, TCfromUB aims to earn over $1 million. He plans to focus on improving his poker skills, entering top tournaments, and even purchasing a Porsche 991 GT3 and a BMW GS motorcycle for long trips with his father. His goals also include regaining his physical fitness and improving his relationships.
TCfromUB's post sparked a debate with Douglas Polk, a well-known poker player. Polk commented on TCfromUB's poker skills, suggesting that he is not among the top five heads-up players in no-limit hold'em. TCfromUB responded by challenging Polk to a high-stakes match, but Polk declined, stating that he is not interested in playing lower stakes and that the match with Ben Sulsky significantly reduced his action. The debate continued with other forum members weighing in on the discussion.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
