Swift will perform seven shows in Australia in February 2024, with three in Melbourne and four in Sydney. An additional show was added to each venue to accommodate high demand. Crown Resorts recently paid a significant financial penalty for misdeeds such as improper tax deductions and money laundering, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Crown claims that their deal with Taylor Swift is focused on the Crown Metropol hotel, not gambling. The partnership allowed Crown to obtain a certain number of pre-sale tickets to Swift's concerts and to tie those in with various hotel packages.
