Stones Gambling Hall Seeks Dismissal of Lawsuit Again
The legal battle surrounding Michael Postle and Stones Gambling Hall continues with new developments. In mid-January, Rounder Life published an anonymous article refuting the allegations of fraud against Michael Postle. In early March, the lawyers for Stones Gambling Hall filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit against the casino and its management, citing a lack of clear evidence from the plaintiffs. The court rejected the lawyers' request and continued to consider the casino's leadership as an accomplice to the crime.
Stones Gambling Hall's representatives filed another motion to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that under California state law, gambling losses cannot be considered damages. The plaintiffs had the opportunity to make amendments regarding the issues raised by Stones Gambling Hall, but they failed to provide additional allegations that would support their claims for compensation.
The casino's representatives also stated that this legal process reflects the 'classic complaints' of unsuccessful players who believe that their lack of success means they must have been cheated. Previously, the casino's representatives stated that their establishment is not obligated to 'care' for the players.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
