Sportsbet and Melbourne Racing Club Ink Five-Year Partnership Deal

Sportsbet has announced a five-year partnership with Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) commencing on 1st January, 2024. This partnership will see Sportsbet contribute $AU 125,000 each year to the MRC Foundation, the charitable arm of the MRC. The MRC Foundation aims to support local communities and help racing industry participants.

The partnership includes several key initiatives. Sportsbet will offer a $AU 1 million prize for any horse that wins both the Sportsbet Mornington Cup and the Sportsbet Caulfield Cup in the same calendar year. Additionally, Sportsbet will invest $AU 125,000 into racing growth initiatives at Mornington racetrack.

This collaboration is part of Flutter Group’s broader sustainability strategy, the Positive Impact Plan, which aims to improve 10 million lives by 2030. The partnership is expected to attract new audiences to racing and enhance the on-course experience for general admission customers.
