Skrill to Introduce Two New User Statuses with Updated Fees

Skrill, the popular payment system, is introducing two new user statuses on November 3, 2023. The current Bronze status will be removed and replaced with two new statuses: Skriller and Skriller Verified. The Skriller status will have a 2.99% fee for all internal transactions. The Skriller Verified status will allow users to make internal transfers without any fees.

To obtain the Skriller Verified status, users need to verify their Skrill account, make a deposit, and log in via the mobile app. These changes will only affect the two lowest statuses, while users with Silver, Gold, and Diamond statuses will remain unaffected.

This update aims to provide more benefits to users, especially those who frequently use internal transfers. By verifying their accounts and using the mobile app, users can enjoy fee-free transactions, making Skrill an even more attractive option for digital payments.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
