Poker Pro Sam Holden to Open Bar After Buying Vegan Restaurant
Sam Holden, a British poker player, has purchased a vegan restaurant called 'Monoment' for 360,000 pounds sterling. He plans to convert the vegan restaurant into a bar. Holden will serve his own brewed ale at the bar and personally serve customers.
Holden is known for his poker career, particularly for finishing 9th in the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event, where he earned $782,110. This was the highest prize money he has ever won in his poker career.
Although Holden has participated in several World Series of Poker tournaments since 2011, he has not come close to matching his record-breaking performance from that year.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
