Sam Greenwood Wins Big in WPT Online High-Stakes Tournament
Sam Greenwood, a Canadian poker professional, emerged victorious in a high-stakes tournament on WPT Online. The event, held on PartyPoker, had a buy-in of $10,300 and a prize pool of $1,000,000. With 105 entries, the tournament exceeded its guarantee by $50,000.
Greenwood's win was significant, earning him $257,200. Matthias Eibinger from Austria was the runner-up, taking home $183,750. Another notable finisher was Timothy Adams, also from Canada, who secured sixth place and earned $183,750.
Artyom Martirosyan from Russia, a two-time SCOOP 2020 champion, finished ninth, earning $26,250.
