Russia Bans YooMoney Deposits to Poker Rooms for Six Months
YooMoney, formerly known as Яндекс.Деньги, is now part of SberBank's ecosystem.
YooMoney has restricted all payment operations to foreign companies, including poker rooms, since January 12, 2021. The restriction is set for six months, starting from January 12, 2021. This means that Russian poker players are unable to deposit funds using YooMoney at various poker platforms.
PokerStars players are unable to deposit funds using YooMoney. RedStar Poker has removed YooMoney as a payment method. PokerDom and GGpokerok do not accept deposits via YooMoney. WebMoney remains an alternative payment method, but it may also be blocked in the future.
