Adventurers on Route 66: A Journey Through the Heart of America

The adventurers from the bwin Vegas Experience are currently traversing the iconic Route 66, finding themselves in Oklahoma. They have traveled almost a thousand kilometers in two consecutive days and are now taking a break in Weatherford, Oklahoma. The group plans to explore more locations on Route 66 with more leisure over the next three days.

The caravan consumes over 20 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers, earning it the nickname 'bañera' from Álvaro. The group encountered a child who hugged Emilio, mistaking him for a father figure. They passed through St. Louis and drove along the original Route 66, which is known for its long, straight roads. The group saw various vehicles with painted messages, including a red SUV with 'DO IT NOW TOUR 2013' written on its windows.

The group visited a supposed mule exchange post and saw people transporting mules with pick-up trucks and trailers. They had lunch at Taco Bell in Springfield, Oklahoma, and noted the colorful grading system for the spiciness of salsas. The group listened to country music on the radio while driving through Oklahoma and stayed at a Marriott hotel in Weatherford, Oklahoma, after completing nearly a thousand kilometers of travel. The group found the Americans to be friendly, attentive, and always smiling.
