Romeopro's 2013 Poker Forum Post: A Nostalgic Look Back

In May 2013, Romeopro opened a thread on the GipsyTeam forum with a hand history from a Poker Stars $500+$30 No Limit Hold'em Tournament, accompanied by the comment 'Romeo you're drunk, time to go home'.

The hand history detailed a complex series of bets and calls, culminating in Romeopro's third-place finish and a win of $80,000. Despite the significant prize money, Romeopro expressed deep frustration, stating that he knew how to play against his opponents but felt helpless due to their aggressive betting strategies.

Other users, such as c3-, commented on Romeopro's performance, noting that he won all the coolers and small pots without doing much. GipsyTeam's Sergey also weighed in, confirming his stance on the expectation in online MTTs, stating that no one has a 300k yearly expectation on PokerStars. VeA praised Romeopro's dedication and professionalism, highlighting how his marathon created popular content beneficial for poker's popularity.
