From Albuquerque to the Grand Canyon: A Journey Through Nature's Wonders
The journey began in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and continued to Flagstaff, Arizona. The travelers started their day early, leaving Albuquerque at 5:20 AM as the sun rose over the hills of New Mexico. As they traveled, the landscape shifted from rugged to completely desert-like, with red and white rocks.
Along the way, they passed several old Indian reserves that are now used for artisan businesses and souvenir sales. Upon reaching Flagstaff, the landscape changed dramatically to one filled with trees and mountains. The travelers had difficulty finding a motel due to the July 4th holiday and the attraction of the Grand Canyon, which caused room prices to nearly double.
In Flagstaff, they took a taxi tour of the town. The taxi driver mentioned that people were fleeing the heat wave in Phoenix to spend the weekend in Flagstaff and camp at the Grand Canyon. They visited Charlie's, a restaurant described as very picturesque, reminiscent of old Western saloons. After exploring Flagstaff, they headed to the Grand Canyon. Despite the rain, they were greeted by a rainbow upon arrival, enhancing the spectacular view. They also saw a deer roaming freely in the park, adding to the magical experience.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
