Prague to Host Major Poker and Mental Sports Festival
The Prague Poker Festival will host three major poker events: the EPT, WPT, and GSOP live from November 26 to December 16, 2012. The festival aims to replicate the success of the 2011 edition, which saw 3,000 registrations. Additionally, the Prague Mind Sports Festival will include competitions in Bridge, Backgammon, Scrabble, League of Legends, and Counter Strike.
Ray Bitar, CEO of Full Tilt Poker, has paid a $2.4 million bail and is free awaiting trial. This development comes as PokerStars nears the completion of its acquisition of Full Tilt Poker, a process that has been long and complex.
In other news, David Verdeguer won the SuperStack tournament at 888poker in Madrid, earning €12,700. The tournament, which had 331 players, will be repeated in December with satellite options available.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
