PokerStyle Management Launches New Low-Buy-In Tournament Series

PokerStyle Management, the company behind the Russian Poker Tour, is launching a new series of tournaments with low buy-ins. The new series will be held in CIS countries and organized to the high standards known from the Russian Poker Tour.

The new series will be called Poker Battle + the name of the city where the tournament takes place. This decision was made after a collective brainstorming session where many creative names were suggested. The prize fund of $500 for the best name suggestion was split equally among the top 5 suggestions.

The top 5 name suggestions were Eurasia Poker Series, Indeo RCPT, Amateur Poker Series, enemy USSR Poker Cup, and CHEBURASHKA Cup of Poker. The new series aims to be an entry point into the world of big poker for those who find higher tournament buy-ins out of their reach.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
