PokerStars Listens to Players: Regular Meetings and Upcoming Changes
PokerStars has established a tradition of regular meetings with delegates from the 2+2 forum to discuss and address player concerns. The first such meeting took place on the Isle of Man in early 2012, and both sides have been satisfied with the results, leading to ongoing discussions.
The April meeting included representatives from PokerStrategy and the Brazilian forum MaisEV. The agenda covered several topics, including changes to SNG tournaments, high-stakes HU SNG, PLO rake, and ratholing.
PokerStars is considering several changes to SNG tournaments, such as the introduction of a 'I am ready' button and synchronized breaks every 2 hours. However, these changes are still in the queue and have not yet been implemented. Additionally, there are no current plans to sell SNG tournament tickets for FPP. For high-stakes HU SNG, PokerStars is exploring solutions to make it easier for amateur players to find opponents. One proposed solution involves creating a pool of 4 players and randomly distributing opponents, but PokerStars wants to ensure that this change will not frustrate players who prefer to choose their own opponents. Richard 'Chadders0' Chewik has been invited to help PokerStars navigate this issue.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
