Poker Stars Share Insights from Monaco's EPT Grand Final

Poker players gathered in Monaco for the EPT Grand Final, sharing their unique experiences and insights. Sean Astin, known for his role as Sam in 'The Lord of the Rings,' participated in the filming of a new episode of the poker show 'Shark Cage' during the event. He also noted that he enjoyed playing against some of the world's best players, including Phil Ivey.

Isaac Hekston shared his experience playing a PLO $400/$800 cash game in Monte-Carlo. He mentioned that he lost only $10,000 over several hours, describing the game as 'big' and 'loose.' The largest pot he recalled was around $400,000, involving a set of aces against a set of kings in a 3-bet pot.

Businessman Vasiliy Klyukin discussed his participation in a high roller tournament and his interest in space travel with Leonardo DiCaprio. Klyukin, who has already been to the Everest and the North Pole, plans to visit the South Pole and Kenya this year. His space travel plans, however, have been delayed due to the crash of SpaceShipTwo.
