Poker Pros Share Personal Updates and Travel Adventures

After the World Series of Poker (WSOP), many players took time to relax and enjoy their vacations. Todd Branson, known for his poker skills, chose Russia as his vacation destination this year. Branson shared his experiences on Twitter, including a photo taken in a church that he titled “Four Wise Men.” He also joked about the thunderstorms he experienced, saying, “Only just heard the loudest thunderclap of my life. I hope that was thunder... It would be too cruel to finally be in Russia and die from an American nuclear missile. Obama, don't do it!!!!”

Branson also faced some travel inconveniences, such as losing his luggage. He tweeted, “Made it to St. Petersburg, but my luggage didn't. Amazing, I've only lost my luggage three times in my life - in England, Rome, and now in Russia.” Despite these challenges, Branson seemed to enjoy his time in Russia, sharing humorous observations about the country's television and culture.

Eugene Kachalov, another prominent poker player, had a memorable experience during his vacation in Iceland. While on a helicopter tour of the famous volcano Eyjafjallajökull, Kachalov proposed to his girlfriend Anna Selukova. The proposal was captured in a tweet that read, “This is the button you are looking for,” referencing a scene from Star Wars.
