Poker Pro Masters Returns with New Rules, Prizes, and Selection Process
The fourth edition of Poker Pro Masters is set to begin on April 15th, with a new set of rules, prizes, and a selection process. The tournament will feature 32 players, with four players receiving prizes. The group stage will be played in a best-of-five format, and the tournament will have 52 preselected players. Nine players will qualify through satellite tournaments, with two free satellite tournaments available for EducaPoker students.
Gerard Carbó, the winner of the third edition, is the ambassador for this year's tournament. The selection process for the tournament has also been updated, with 52 preselected players instead of the previous 50. The community will vote to select the first 20 participants, and the 20 selected players will then vote to repescar two more players who did not make it through the initial voting process.
In addition to the community voting, nine players will qualify through satellite tournaments. Seven of these satellites will be head-to-head (HU) format with a 10€ entry fee, while the remaining two will be free and exclusive to EducaPoker students in a multi-table tournament (MTT) format. The first satellite tournament will be held on February 14th, with a freeroll qualifier available on February 10th at 22:00. The community voting process will begin on February 10th, with the list of 52 preselected players revealed in a special program before Monkey Island on the Poker-Red Twitch channel.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
