Poker Pro Reflects on Life After Winning Big: 'Nothing Changed Much'

Winning a major poker tournament can be a life-changing event, but for one professional player, not much has changed. In an interview, the player revealed that the only significant difference in his life post-victory was the increased media attention and some interesting opportunities that came his way.

The player, who donated half of his winnings to the charitable foundation REG, shared that his motivation to play has remained the same. 'I never played for the money or fame,' he said. 'I just enjoy all aspects of the game, including finding ways to outsmart my opponents and competing.'

When asked about his financial investments, the player mentioned that he bought a house in England and invested in several funds and startups with his winnings. He also plans to reinvest in buy-ins for other tournaments. Additionally, the player has never sold stakes, only exchanging them with other players. He started his poker career with SNG and later transitioned to live tournaments through step satellites.
