PokerMatch Celebrates Fourth Anniversary with Record-Breaking Tournament
PokerMatch celebrated its fourth anniversary with a special tournament called Happy Birthday PokerMatch. The tournament had a guarantee of 4,000,000₴ and attracted 4,622 players. The tournament started at 20:00 and lasted until the early morning.
The tournament featured a variety of high-stakes players, including ambassadors and streamers from PokerMatch. However, none of the ambassadors or streamers made it to the final table. Notably, blogger Cardmates AleksGo, playing under the nickname resecum, made it to the final table. AleksGo started the tournament with a stack of 17,000 chips, but managed to reach the final table with a stack of 100,000,000 chips, nearly becoming the chip leader.
Despite his strong start, AleksGo's luck changed, and he ended up in a short stack position. In his final hand, he went all-in with A-Q but lost to his opponent's pocket valets. AleksGo finished the tournament in 8th place, winning 50,000₴, the highest cash prize in his career. The winner of the tournament was the player with the nickname aziat_444, who won 665,000₴.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
