Poker Hall of Fame 2026: New Inductees and Legendary Players

The Poker Hall of Fame is set to welcome new members in 2026 with a revised voting process. Each of the 33 members can cast four votes for candidates from a shortlist.

Shaun Deeb is a standout figure in the poker world, known for his nine WSOP bracelets and being named Player of the Year twice, in 2018 and 2025. Deeb's hard work and ability to perform at a high level in both low and high-stakes games have earned him respect. However, he is also known for his outspoken nature, frequently criticizing the organizational aspects of the World Series of Poker. Deeb's love for betting extends beyond poker; he once made a bet with Bill Perkins to reduce his body fat percentage from 40% to 17%, which he nearly achieved, earning $800,000.

Patrick Leonard, known as pads1161, has made a significant mark in online poker. He has won 13 WCOOP titles on PokerStars and holds the record for the most SCOOP wins. His highest live tournament cash was $475,940 for second place in the Bellagio Cup in 2017. Leonard's versatility in games like PLO8, Stud Hi/Lo, and 2-7 Triple Draw makes him a formidable opponent.

Alan Keating is renowned for his aggressive and entertaining playing style, earning him the nickname "the most dangerous man in poker." Keating first appeared in official poker statistics at the WSOP 2007, where he finished 102nd in the main event. He gained significant attention after his debut on Hustler Casino Live in April 2022, known for his high VPIP and bold plays. Garrett Adelstein started playing poker at the age of 18, inspired by Chris Moneymaker's victory.
