Poker Stars Accuse Ali Imisrovich, Jake Shindler, and Brin Kenny of Cheating
Poker players Ali Imisrovich, Jake Shindler, and Brin Kenny are under fire for alleged cheating. Alex Foxen accused Ali Imisrovich of using a cheat device and multi-accounting on GG Poker. Foxen claimed that Imisrovich was seen cheating during a tournament and that Imisrovich was banned from GG Poker for cheating.
Foxen also noted that Imisrovich was seen wearing glasses the day after he was accused of cheating, which was unusual for him. Matt Berkey confirmed that the use of cheat devices is a serious problem in online poker. Jake Shindler and Brin Kenny were also accused of using cheat devices.
In October 2020, GG Poker banned 40 accounts for using cheat devices. Rob Yong stated that poker rooms should only ban players when there are no doubts about their guilt. Patrick Leonard suggested creating a poker union with a shared blacklist to combat cheating.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
