Philip Chun Wins Big at WSOP Mini Mystery Millions with $400,000 Prize

The 2026 World Series of Poker $550 Mini Mystery Millions event drew 20,488 entries, making for a prize pool worth over $9.3 million. The event featured dramatic envelope drawings, adding excitement to the late stages. Philip Chun emerged as the ultimate winner, securing his first bracelet and a $400,000 prize. Chun's victory was his largest score yet, surpassing his previous win of $88,193 at the 2022 Wynn Signature Series.

Chun attributed his win to guidance from Chip Leader Coaching’s Kristen Foxen, who conducted an hour-long coaching session with him ahead of the final day. Chun earned 720 Card Player Player of the Year points for this victory, marking his second POY-qualified score of 2026. The final table included notable players such as Kartik Ved, Jalil Houssain, David Prociak, and Axel Bayout. Andrew Shelton also made a significant impact by winning a $1,000,000 bounty.

The final day saw intense action with a baker’s dozen of players remaining. Nearly $4.1 million in bounty payouts were awarded after the bubble burst. Chun's strategic play and guidance from Foxen proved crucial in his victory, cementing his place as a top contender in the poker world.
