Phil Ivey Opens Up About Poker Career and Future Goals

Phil Ivey, one of the most renowned poker players, recently sat down for interviews with PokerNews and PokerListings, offering a rare glimpse into his thoughts on his career, future goals, and personal life. Ivey mentioned that he plans to win the upcoming heads-up tournament at WSOPE, which will have around 100 players, to secure another bracelet.

Ivey expressed his admiration for Chip Reese, stating that he learned more about poker from him than from anyone else. He also confirmed a story about renting a helicopter with Patrick Antonius and Tom Dwan to attend a Jay-Z and Coldplay concert, adding that the experience was "klevo."

When asked about his thoughts on London, Ivey stated that he enjoys the city, describing it as one of the best in the world with a variety of cultures and restaurants. He mentioned that he prefers online poker over live games in London because the live games are too low-stakes for him.
