Phil Hellmuth Skips $400,000 Prop Bet Kickoff for Night Out

Poker legend Phil Hellmuth did not start his $400,000 prop bet at the Aria Casino. Fans were hoping he would kick off his bet at the Aria Casino. Phil Hellmuth has a prop bet with Daniel Negreanu that he can profit from fifty $25,000 high roller tournaments at the Aria Casino.

Instead of starting his prop bet, Phil Hellmuth spent his time watching Conor McGregor’s freak injury at the UFC and joining Steve Aoki in the DJ booth.

It is unclear why Hellmuth decided against starting his prop bet, but it is possible that he is making sure he’s in tip top form at the tables before he embarks on what is actually a tough bet.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
