Phil Galfond Faces Off Against WSOP Dealer ChristIsLord in Epic PLO Battle

In mid-July, Phil Galfond was streaming his WSOP Online tournament sessions, opening cash tables at PL10K and PL20K. One evening, Galfond tweeted about playing alone at these high stakes, inviting others to join him. An online PLO player, ChristIsLord, accepted the challenge and played against Galfond.

ChristIsLord, a dealer at WSOP, posted a video titled 'WSOP Dealer Puts Salary Against Phil Galfond' on his YouTube channel. The video shows the match with open cards and commentary from both players, providing an in-depth look at their strategies and interactions.

ChristIsLord used strategies he learned from Galfond's content, including a check-raise line from a Run It Once vod. He had previously played limits of $2/4, $3/6, and $5/10, and sold parts of his action to friends before the match. Galfond marked ChristIsLord as a 'fish' after observing his play, noting his unconventional strategies and occasional mistakes.
