Paul's Rise from Casino Enthusiast to Poker Pro

Paul's journey into the world of poker began with a fascination for casinos. He started his gaming career by attempting to outsmart casinos, and in 2005, he made headlines by winning £3 million playing roulette with £300,000 bets, only to lose it all quickly. His first serious poker games were played in Ivey's Room at Aria with high stakes. Paul started playing poker seriously in 2009 or 2010, focusing mainly on cash games initially. He considers the first 12 months of his tournament poker career as a learning experience.

Paul prefers live poker games over online ones, enjoying the dynamics and interaction with opponents. He lives on two homes: one in England and another on the island of Jersey. Paul enjoys playing poker in various locations, including Monaco, Las Vegas, Barcelona, and the PCA. His love for the game is evident in his enthusiasm and dedication to improving his skills.

Despite his success, Paul acknowledges that there is always room for improvement. He plans to continue learning and participating in major poker tournaments, including the One Drop and other high-stakes events. His journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring poker players, showcasing the importance of perseverance and continuous learning in the competitive world of poker.
