Paulinho “Pialinn” Bandeira Aims for Third Consecutive WSOP Main Event Appearance

Paulinho “Pialinn” Bandeira, a well-known poker player in Brasília, is preparing for his third consecutive year of attempting to secure a spot in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Bandeira has made a name for himself with notable results in both live and online poker, particularly through his participation in 888poker satellites.

WSOP Journey

Bandeira's journey to the WSOP has been marked by success. In 2014, he won two packages for side events and one for the Main Event. The following year, in 2015, he secured one package and won another for the Main Event. These victories have allowed him to travel to Las Vegas with all expenses covered, including buy-in, accommodation, and travel costs, thanks to the online satellites that start at just $0.01.

Strategy and Advice

Looking ahead to this year, Bandeira plans to start playing the satellites after Carnival and will continue until he secures one or two packages. He advises other players to participate in many steps, including those costing $5 and $30 during the week, and $160 and $1050 on Sundays, which tend to offer more spots. Additionally, Bandeira recommends visiting pool parties at Wet Republic and Encore Beach Club, and watching shows like Michael Jackson and Le Rêve in Las Vegas.
