Patrik Leonard Wins Two SCOOP 2020 Events on PokerStars
Patrik Leonard, known as pads1161 on PokerStars, has had a remarkable run in the SCOOP 2020 events. Despite contracting COVID-19 in March, Leonard has been one of the most active players in online MTTs this spring. He has cashed in over 70 events on PokerStars alone, winning two of them.
Leonard's first victory came in the SCOOP-53-H: PLO8 [6-Max] event, where he faced off against theNERDguy in the final heads-up and won $52,605. His second win was in the SCOOP-93-H turbo event, where he defeated julioassp and took home $41,810. In total, Leonard has won over $11,400,000 in online tournaments.
In the SCOOP-93-H turbo event, 460 players participated, making 399 rebuys and 288 add-ons, creating a prize pool of $232,841. Other notable players in the final included probirs, mararthur1, and MiracleQ, who finished fourth, sixth, and seventh respectively.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
