Patrik Leonard Criticizes England's Euro 2020 Final Performance

England and Italy played to a draw in regular time, with Italy winning on penalties. The match took place at Wembley Stadium with 67,000 spectators, including British poker player Patrik Leonard, who had been supporting England throughout the tournament.

Leonard criticized England's use of their bench, stating that if they had used their substitutes correctly, they would have had a better chance. He mentioned that if Italy's manager Roberto Mancini had players like Sancho, Grealish, Rashford, and Calvert-Lewin, he would have used them better. Additionally, Leonard criticized the decision to let a young player take the decisive fifth penalty.

Leonard gave England's manager Gareth Southgate a score of 2 out of 10. He also gave forward Harry Kane a score of 3 out of 10, while other players like Jordan Pickford, Kyle Walker, and Luke Shaw received scores of 8.
