PartyPoker and PokerStars Unveil Exciting New Promotions and Changes

PartyPoker and PokerStars have announced a series of new promotions and changes that are sure to excite poker enthusiasts. PartyPoker is kicking things off with a reload bonus of up to $500 for players who have not been active since August 2016. To qualify, players must contact PartyPoker's support team to confirm their last active date was before July 31, 2016. Once verified, players have one month to clear the bonus by generating $4 in rake or 8 Party Points for every $1 in bonus funds.

The 'Gladiator' promotion at PartyPoker will run from October 3 to November 1, 2016. Players can earn prizes, including free tournament entries and cash up to $5,250, by accumulating points over at least five days during the month. Unlike traditional rake races, players can choose their own schedule, as daily point accumulation is not required. Prizes range from free tournament entries to cash rewards, depending on the number of points and days played.

PokerStars is also making waves with a $1,000,000 guaranteed freeroll on October 9, 2016. The winner will take home $10,000. To qualify, players must participate in daily All-in Shootout Qualifier tournaments or the Last Chance Skill Qualifier on October 8. Additionally, PokerStars introduces a new tournament format called 'Win the Button,' featuring 11 daily tournaments and two big weekend events. This format allows players to start the next hand on the button after winning a hand, with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $162. Furthermore, PokerStars has added a new mini-game called CardMatch to its Zoom tables, offering cash prizes for matching cards with those on a randomly generated board.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
