Partypoker Launches Hot Tables, Discontinues Daily Leaderboards

On March 11, 2021, partypoker launched the Hot Tables promotion, which adds a random sum to the pot before a hand begins. The Hot Tables promotion features five categories of bonuses: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, or diamond. The minimum and maximum prizes for the Hot Tables promotion vary by limit, ranging from $0.10 to $500.

The Hot Tables promotion is available on four hold'em and omaha limits, as well as at Fast Forward poker tables. Partypoker has discontinued all daily leaderboards in cash games, which previously offered $24,000 in prizes daily across various limits.

The Hot Tables promotion is designed to reward a larger number of players, with partypoker expecting to increase the reach to 25% of players. Partypoker managers explained that the new system aims to reward more recreational players, which is beneficial for the room's ecosystem. The Hot Tables promotion will result in more frequent bonuses, with players expected to encounter a cash drop at least once per session. The Hot Tables promotion will not apply to NL/PL2, NL/PL5, and NL/PL200 limits, where leaderboards have also been discontinued.
