Partypoker Tackles Cheating with Blacklist at Barcelona Festival
Partypoker has announced that they will enforce a blacklist at their live events, starting with the upcoming Barcelona MILLIONS Europe festival. This blacklist will prevent all players who have been banned online with partypoker from participating in their live events.
Juha Pasanen, partypoker's Head of Game Integrity, stated that the blacklist will include all players banned online with partypoker. Pasanen will be present in Barcelona to address player concerns and take action where needed. He emphasized partypoker's zero-tolerance policy towards players who intentionally gain an unfair advantage.
The blacklist announcement follows recent cheating scandals, including the apparent exclusion of Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler at the PokerStars EPT Monte Carlo. Partypoker encourages players to report any suspicious activity to help combat cheating. Reports can be submitted confidentially and anonymously, and Pasanen will host a Game Integrity forum at the Barcelona event to discuss player concerns.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
